How to make Celestial Seasonings donate $50,000 to save rainforest acreage

There are plenty of reasons, but what we’re focusing on today is that they’re huge carbon dioxide sinks (“the planet’s lungs,” remember?). And when they get destroyed, not only do they stop capturing that CO2, but they become CO2-emitting forests (as we recently discussed when looking at the effects of pine beetle infestation).
Conservation International has been trying to slow the destruction of the rainforest since 1987 and now they’re teaming up with Boulder’s Celestial Seasonings in a promotion that promises to donate $1 to Conservation International’s “Save an Acre” program for every person who takes their Facebook quiz — up to $50,000.
Just $15 protects one acre of important tropical forests. Simply take our PossibiliTEAS quiz and get 14 of your Facebook friends to do the same and, together, you will have protected one acre! Celestial Seasonings has always been committed to protecting the planet and your participation helps protect threatened tropical forests and slow climate change around the world.
If I were to go to a tropical forest with 14 of my friends, even if we were limited to one acre, I think we’d be toast in a week. So this is pretty good deal. Plus the quiz tells you what kind of animal you are or something. I’m a koi?
